Figueiredo is one of former Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro’s closest allies. Former Goiás Governor Ronaldo Caiado announced PSD National President Gilberto Kassab as the vice-presidential running mate for his presidential ticket. By opting for an all-PSD ticket, the move highlights the party’s difficulty in attracting coalition partners. As previously announced by Senate President Davi Alcolumbre, the proposal to end the 6x1 work schedule without reducing workers’ pay was the subject of an extensive debate yesterday on the Senate floor.
