TERMITES IN LULA’S WORKS
FROM EUPHORIA TO HANGOVER – Just like termites, the truth is stubborn and eventually surfaces at the height of the party. Happily surfing the wave of Trump’s friendly gestures and a rise in popularity — despite still-high rejection — Lula’s “luck” once again became the motto of the left, which began to gather courage to announce its plans for government in 2027. Here and there, incorrigible sirens emerged whispering the possibility of “a new fiscal stance from the Workers’ Party (PT)” in the next administration, sounding like heavenly music to unsuspecting ears. The less naïve wonder why Lula would fall into the trap of reenacting the second Dilma administration, knowing the disastrous consequences (impeachment) of such a sudden turn. But there is no doubt that this song — and others — will continue to be sung in an attempt to seduce non-PT voters who, in the last election, chose Lula.
