Today, the Lower House’s Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJC) is expected to vote on Congressman Paulo Azi’s (União-BA) favorable opinion regarding the admissibility of two constitutional amendment proposals (PECs) addressing the 6-day workweek (6x1 schedule). On today’s agenda at the Supreme Federal Court (STF) are cases challenging a presidential decree that, in regulating the Over-Indebtedness Law (Law No. 14,181/21), set the “minimum subsistence level” at 25% of the current minimum wage. Today is also the deadline for states to declare whether they will adhere to the R$1.20 per liter subsidy for imported diesel.
