The justice did not set a deadline for the PGR’s response, which is expected this week. This is the final week of activity for the INSS Joint Congressional Inquiry Committee (CPMI). Formally, the committee is authorized to operate until Saturday, March 28. The PSD, led by Gilberto Kassab, may define its presidential pre-candidate on Tuesday, March 24. The options are three governors: Ratinho Jr. of Paraná; Ronaldo Caiado of Goiás; and Eduardo Leite of Rio Grande do Sul. Ratinho Jr. is the frontrunner, as he is currently best positioned in voting polls.
