The possible departure of Senate Government Leader Jaques Wagner (PT-BA) was discussed yesterday by President Lula’s campaign inner circle. Targeted by a Federal Police operation related to the Master case, the PT is concerned about the potential impact on Lula’s reelection campaign. An Ipsos/Ipec poll released yesterday found that a majority of respondents hold a negative view of the Lula administration, disapprove of the president and do not trust Lula. Yesterday, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), Romeu Zema (Novo), and Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) participated in an event organized by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). President Lula did not attend.
