The Special Committee reviewing the proposal to eliminate the 6x1 work schedule (PEC 221/19) presented yesterday its work plan for this month. The presentation of the rapporteur’s report is scheduled for May 20, Today, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) will hear direct constitutional challenges against Law No. 12,734/12, which established new rules for the distribution of oil royalties by reallocating resources to non-producing states and municipalities. Today also marks the deadline for President Lula to sign into law the bill addressing sentencing guidelines for those convicted over the January 8 attacks by the STF. The expectation is that Lula will refrain from signing the bill and leave the matter to the President of Congress, Senator Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP).
