The full bench of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) is set to review tomorrow an injunction granted by Justice André Mendonça extending the INSS Joint Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPMI). The committee was initially scheduled to conclude on March 28. The President of the Lower House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), said on Tuesday, March 24, that the current priorities of the House include reducing the 6x1 work schedule (PEC 221/19), regulating app-based work (PLP 152/25), and advancing legislation on artificial intelligence (PL 2338/23) and critical minerals (PL 2780/24). Finally, yesterday, the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) ruled against former Rio de Janeiro Governor Cláudio Castro (PL) for hiring thousands of temporary workers through the Ceperj Foundation for electoral purposes during the 2022 campaign. As a result, Castro has been declared ineligible to run for office. He had planned to run for the Senate in October.
