The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) began deliberating yesterday on whether to uphold the individual decision issued by the Court’s president, Justice Kassio Nunes Marques, who on Monday (June 8) ordered the removal of content and suspended the publication of a poll conducted by AtlasIntel. Senate President Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP) met with Minister José Guimarães, who is responsible for political coordination within President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s administration, to discuss the progress of the proposed constitutional amendment that would reduce the workweek from 44 to 40 hours and prohibit the six-days-on, one-day-off (6x1) schedule. Today, the Lower House may vote on Complementary Bill (PLP) No. 114/2026, which would authorize the federal government to offset fuel-related tax exemptions with extraordinary revenues from the oil sector.
